Hello all,

I am a decently skilled modeller and have been asked to make some models for a friends map. I understand that they need to be in md3 format, but after that, I am baffled. How do I apply the textures to the md3? And how do I apply the shaders? Are all these done in radiant or in the md3 itself? A separate shader file?

Answers to any and all of these questions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time,

Ctathos

im sure there is different ways to do it, but im applying the textures in 3dsmax/Gmax. so the answer is "the md3 itself". and remember that the textures need to be placed in a speccial structure.

I'm pretty sure it's done with the md3 itself.

no, not really, but it should be good if its in the same folder as your md3. for example: "models/map_objects/myobjects/" and when exporting your md3, make sure your options is something like this. attachment.php?attachmentid=47059&stc=1&d=1141409357
