Well I have made dozens of new custom sabers but I would like to know the names of the animations for different things. One saber I have is a duelist saber. I would like to make the flourish animation be the staff attack, the one that is done by hitting forward and attack. Spins the saber around and over his head. If I can get the names of those animations or any ready standing position, I would appreciate it.

You can see which animation correspond to which name by opening the assets1.pk3, extracting the following folders: - _humanoid - Luke

extract them inside your

gamedata\base\models\players

directory, and open the GLM file inside the "Luke " folder with Modview. On the left white field you have to click on "model.glm" and on "sequences (from .cfg file)" to expand the menu and see the list of the animations with their names...

where do I get this mod view. I looked on JK3files but I didn't see it. Can someone give me a link. Plus is there anyway I can make a new animation. I was thinking of a type of animation that you see darth revan do in KOTOR right before malak fires on his ship, where he twirls his saber and holds it above his shoulder

Get modview here.

It is in the JK2 section, but it works for JA.

Of course you can. You need at least 3dsmax R4 OR XSI softimage 3.0, and all the plugins you need is the XSI importer-exporter provided in the JK2 SDK.
