I made a pk3 file ,added my map in maps folder ,my textures in textures/mapname and they worked in GTK radient .

I added them in the map (a logo and a big photo ) ,i can see them in gtk radient, but in-game i see them like missing texture ,what did i do wrong ?

Also ,i made (inside the pk3) a folder named levelshots and added a splash screen (a map screenshot from in-game with some text added) with the map's name ,but also ,it doesnt show up when i join the server ( i'm testing the map with a private server,i find it easier than devmap ) .

All the pictures are JPG (i checked other maps and i saw JPG's so i did jpg) .

thanks in advance..

The pictures need to be saved as standard JPGs (there are other kinds, but just be sure you're using the normal kind) and need to be a power of 2 pixel-wise.

I.E. The picture size needs to be 2x2, 4x4, 8x8... 256x256, 512x512 etc. You can have squares or rectangles but they need to be power-of-2 x power-of-2. Keep in mind that you can scale your custom textures to look squashed and then stretch them out again in GTKRadiant.

hmm stupid question : do you mean they need to be the same ? like 60 x 60 or it can be 60x120 ( as both of them can divide with 2 ,i think thats the word , like this -> 60/2 =30 xD)

my jpg's aren't 2x2 anyway ,that might be the problem ,i'll try and reply if it worked ,thx.

POWER OF 2!!! Not divisible by 2!!! As in 2 to the power of something = Number you should use 2^2=4 2^7=128 2^8=256 and so on. So you could have 64x256 for a banner, for example. For simplicity, I use squares. Always. I'm boring like that.
