For some reason, I download the Dark Force Mod 2010(this one http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/Dark_Force_Mod_2010;115329#Download), and none of the changes except for the main menu take effect. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how might I go about fixing it? Thanks in advance.

Try putting a some late-alphabet letters at the front of the pk3's name - 'z_' is a favourite. I did this, but my problem was more simple; an inability to read that it was MP-only :)

Hmm, it didn't seem to work. Are there any specific mods known to conflict with DF 2010?

It says in the readme that it may conflict with other mods besides maps. It is a code mod so anything code related will conflict with this.

Ok then. I'll try removing all my code stuff soon.

Make sure you have a new folder in your GameData folder with all the Dark Forces 2010 mod contents in it. Otherwise, it's not guaranteed to work (and if you put it in base, it can break the game)

Ya' know something? I woke up about 3 AM on the 9th, decided to check here, and found someone with the same problem I have with the same mod. Weird. I'd like to know the answer as well. It's been bugging me... :moon: Hey, I didn't know the full moon was out tonight.

Did you not read eezstreet's comment? To clarify - create a folder in Gamedata called something relevant like 'DFM' and put the .pk3 in this DFM folder rather than the usual Base folder. Then create a text file with the mod's name in it. Put it in the DFM folder and call it description.txt and then select whatever you put in the description.txt from the in-game mod menu.

Thanks eezstreet; it works now! I can't believe I didn't realize that it had to be loaded from the mod menu. And my god, this mod is fun! :D
