Okay, I'm sure this is a really easy question to answer, but being a modding noob... Is it possible to change the default timescale value in JA singleplayer, and if so, how? Thanks in advance.

You would do it with /timescale (number), such as 2 for twice as fast.

Penguin Unit;3781099You would do it with /timescale (number), such as 2 for twice as fast.

"/timescale (number)" doesn't appear to do anything. "timescale (number)" changes the current value of timescale, but the default value stays 1 (you can even see that when you type just "timescale" without a number, the game tells you "timescale = (number), default 1"). And whenver you start a new mission, access a menu, watch a cutscene, etc, it reverts back to the default value. And I don't like that, I want to change it. Putting a "seta timescale" line into the cfg doesn't work either, the game either changes the line to the default value or just ignores it if the cfg file is write-protected.

Strange. It usually seems to work for me...
