If you are talking about decals, then it's polygonOffset. Arrevenous doesn't sound like any shader command I recognize, though.

is there a command line in the the shader file to make it draw first, on top of eveything else, with no zfighting? I read through the entire Q3A Shader Manual and didn't see it, so now I'm wondering how its done, cause I've seen it done before. I think it was Arrevenous or however you spell it. Whichever file was put on JK3Files first.

thats a map, sirs. I guess I really dont remember the actual name of it...it was based on a warcraft map, I think...but I could be wrong. But I mean making the shader applied to the brush draw over the intersecting plane. Heres a pic of the surface That I want to draw over the other. Its an unusable hatch............and the uploader is broken. Looked it up, name is Arevass.

Well, I'm not likely to download some map and run through it just to try to see what you mean, so instead you could check out the decal theory. Decals are usually scratch marks, blood stains, logos and other such things in maps. A texture that can be applied summarily on top of any normal texture/shader and it won't cause z-fighting.

I wasnt suggesting you should...I just remembered I'd seen it somewhere before. For all purposes of mine, yes, decals would work. Thank you Lassev! :)

EDIT Waitaminute...that sort command looks eerily similar to what I was originally asked about. I'll mess with it when I have time.
