Here is what I have started with the Dual Backhand Style (DBS). First is the stance: shot0280.jpgshot0281.jpgshot0282.jpgshot0283.jpgshot0284.jpg I started with BOTH_STAND9 as the base since I liked its leg positioning and the fact that there is already BOTH_LEGUP animations for it. I'm not 100% happy with the torso as is though and will probably go back and redo it. Right now it does include breathing as well, but that does not show up in screenshots. Next I have the run. I took inspiration from the latest trailer for TFU2. shot0285.jpgshot0286.jpgshot0287.jpgshot0288.jpg The arms swing quite a bit, but I was careful to avoid any clipping through the body. I'm happy with it, but it is up for C&C once I get a video clip made further down the road. Last up is something I did for the regular backhand (BH) style that works for the DBS as well. I replaced the "lean left" and "lean right" animations with some animations blocking those sides respectfully. shot0291.jpgshot0292.jpgshot0293.jpgshot0294.jpg This allows the player to have better defense at the expense of movement. Tell me any C&C you have. The next thing I'll work on is the walk animations and then I'll move onto the attacks. *edit* And before anybody ask: those sabers are set to the default length of 40. They look big for two reasons: 1. The 40 length is very long to begin with. 2. Holding the saber backhand puts it closer to the camera and thus makes it look even larger.

I think you should shorten them to, say... 35.

I like the blocking idea. I never use the dodge function as it never really worked unless you had mediocre-to-okay reflexes (I had to use Force Speed to get it to work) but blocking... that's useful to me!

Here is an update for this. First is the update to the stance. I really like this version so unless anybody has any major objections it will be the stance I use from now on. shot0296.jpgshot0297.jpgshot0298.jpgshot0299.jpgshot0300.jpg

The stance has breathing. The way the sabers/hands are positioned make the sabers not look so big.

Next is the first swing; the top-to-bottom swing (W/S + attack). shot0302.jpgshot0303.jpgshot0304.jpg

It's not perfect yet, as apparent by the second pic. The arm deformation is very fast and does not show up when played at regular speed. I slow the game down (timescale command) to take pics and noticed the arm stretching. So it is probably one frame that needs tweaking.

The left hand switches the grip to an overhand grip during the 'start transiton' so that it attacks with the left hand first overhand and then with the right backhanded. During the 'return transition' the left hand flips the saber back to underhand.

Both the sabers have good arcs for attacking forward. This attack hits Reborns in front of the player.

I'll make a video once I either clean up the attack, or when I get a bit more animations done.

The arms swing way too much during the walk and run cycles. Let me guess, you imported some of Raven's animations and changed the saber and wrist orientations?

Also, the stance itself is too relaxed and loose.

I LOVE THE NEW STANCE!!! But in the top-to-bottom swing the is really strechted out in the second pictures Still can't wait for the mod
