i have a download which gives certain npcs dual pistols (in singleplayer only). is there any way i could use dual pistols in singleplayer without using the control command or level 4 mindtrick to control dual pistol npcs? i tried turning into the npcs via playermodel, but i only got one pistol that way.

You'd need to model the second weapon and position it to where the left hand is.

You know, I thought about doing a dual pistol mp and sp mod, but then I remembered I dont know how to model. If you could make one, Im sure it would be a big hit.

Well, you can't make true dual weapons in SP, but you can of course do what you're planning, model a player with a weapon in the left hand, and re-tag the weaponry, but that only allows for one weapon, it wouldn't look right when you use others, sorry.

he said single-player, tho that mod was awesome *remembers good times blowing bots to hell with dual concussion rifles* good times. good times. last hope doesn't work in sp.

last hope used coding for dual pistols and you could see the empty spots on the guns. is there any way i could put a tag on the second pistol that makes it go to the left hand?

That depends on how he coded it. If it's just a reflection/uses one md3 then you'll probably have to import the pistol (glm, not md3) and remake the first person view using the entire model.

The dual-pistol system in SP is coded into the following conditions:

- Reborn-class - in TEAM_ENEMY - equipped with a blaster pistol - fighting against player

I tried to get this effect in SP, but you really can't get this normally unless you meet the conditions.

Thing is, the system is configured so as the game will not give the second pistol to the NPC until just right after spawn time, when the enemy 'senses' the player. So playermodelling as that NPC is useless.
