Interesting concept, but I don't really see this working out. Wheeled vehicles don't really function in JA, from what I've seen, and that seems to be the backbone of your mod. If you can find a way to get them to work well, though, more power to you. If you manage it, I hope you'll share your technique with the community so we can all benefit. So, in short, good luck with this.

Bit of friendly advice, though. In your Q&A section, you might want to lay off the condescending sarcasm. Harassing people before they say something is not the best way to convince people to join your project.

The problem, as Inyri stated, is in getting the vehicles to behave correctly. For cars, it's not too difficult. Make 'em walker-types, animate them and tint the windows black, so the player won't see the driver. For bikes, however, it's damn near impossible without at least some coding. If you make them swoops, the sounds and handling will be utterly messed up and the animations won't work. If you make them animals, things will be a little easier. Both choices need new animations, though, and this is where the real difficulty begins. No two bikes have the same stance when riding them and the swoop and animal types have a single animation on all the models. I wish you good luck and hope the problems will be solved.

*Ponts at Q3 Racer* I've been wanting to do something similar to this, but lack the know-how. I did, however, start working on a map of a city, with multiple race tracks. I'll finish it off for you if you like.

"Chariot from Ben Hur" That is the most random thing I've seen all day, you get the award. *pins a gold star on* As for the vehicles, I know they *could work* atleast the motorcycles, as swoops even! The midgar bikes work just fine, without looking too bad, it doesn't work QUITE right though. *shrugs*

No, they don't, actually. If I had the possibility, I would've animated them and made 'em animals, which would've produced much better results in the end. What was released was the best I could do at the time. Of course, I'm not better off now..

Yeah, they would have been better actually being able to touch the ground. But everyone needs a flying motorcycle now and then, right?

Flying motorcycles fail at life. If they're not on the ground, how can they even move? No traction = no movement.

Flying motorcycles are about as useful as a slice of bread made from granite.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.
