Hi, I've been searching for a way to mod force powers. Can anyone direct me the files that contain the force powers?

What I'm trying to change are costs mostly, and if possible button combinations for acrobatic moves.

I'm not a 100% sure this is it, but it's the closest thing I got to anything relative to force configurations, so here goes. In Assets1 in the ext_data folder, there'll be a file called items.dat. Open that using Notepad/Wordpad, and you should see the force powers right at the bottom. They'll look like this:

{ itemname ITM_FORCE_LEVITATION_PICKUP

classname holocron_force_levitation worldmodel models/map_objects/force_holocrons/jump.md3 pickupsound sound/player/holocron.wav icon gfx/hud/f_icon_levitation count 1 type IT_HOLOCRON tag FP_LEVITATION max 8 8 16 min -8 -8 -0 }

However, since this is in the item file, it might just change the actual item pickup of that force power, not the generic force powers you have in Single Player. Furthermore, based from that code I don't see anything which could adjust the force costs as such, so this file might be completely useless to you. Anyway, mess around with it a little if you'd like but don't get your hopes up too high.

And about the "button combinations for acrobatic moves", I assume you're talking about the special moves like the red DFA where he jumps forward with an overheard slash. Well to be honest I've never seen a file which alters that, I'm afraid. I don't know much about these things, so you might be better off asking someone else. Seto would probably know a thing or two.

If you're going to edit the forcepowers, you're going to need to use the JKA MP SDK. This will require coding, however changing something simple as the forcepower costs (I assume you mean in the force menu) is relatively simple. Under the file bg_misc.c about 179 lines down. Also you can change the max ammount of points each force mastery uses. { 0, 2, 4, 6 }, // Heal // FP_HEAL { 0, 0, 2, 6 }, // Jump //FP_LEVITATION,//hold/duration { 0, 2, 4, 6 }, // Speed //FP_SPEED,//duration { 0, 1, 3, 6 }, // Push //FP_PUSH,//hold/duration { 0, 1, 3, 6 }, // Pull //FP_PULL,//hold/duration { 0, 4, 6, 8 }, // Mind Trick //FP_TELEPATHY,//instant { 0, 1, 3, 6 }, // Grip //FP_GRIP,//hold/duration { 0, 2, 5, 8 }, // Lightning //FP_LIGHTNING,//hold/duration { 0, 4, 6, 8 }, // Dark Rage //FP_RAGE,//duration { 0, 2, 5, 8 }, // Protection //FP_PROTECT,//duration { 0, 1, 3, 6 }, // Absorb //FP_ABSORB,//duration { 0, 1, 3, 6 }, // Team Heal //FP_TEAM_HEAL,//instant { 0, 1, 3, 6 }, // Team Force //FP_TEAM_FORCE,//instant { 0, 2, 4, 6 }, // Drain //FP_DRAIN,//hold/duration { 0, 2, 5, 8 }, // Sight //FP_SEE,//duration { 0, 1, 5, 8 }, // Saber Attack //FP_SABER_OFFENSE, { 0, 1, 5, 8 }, // Saber Defend //FP_SABER_DEFENSE, { 0, 4, 6, 8 } // Saber Throw //FP_SABERTHROW,

For something like changing acrobatics, you'll need to look under bg_pmove. It won't be easy but it isn't impossible. it'll take alot of looking around since there isn't really the keys that you might be expecting. Like there isn't a 'walk forward' decleration you can use, there's things like BUTTON_USE and FORCEPOWER_USE and stuff, but the basic commands you're used to, you might not be able to link up button combinations.
