While looking through the personality files of the various bots, i noticed that some of them have a variable for inserting names either of the loved ones or the hated ones.

I was wondering if anyone of this forum knew what the variables %s and %a meant?

Sometimes the %s if for the hated one, sometimes for the loved one. Is there a rule?

Here's a few examples:

Morgan BelovedKilled { %s!!! My son! %s, watch yourself! } Hatred { %a, for that, you must be punished. } ------------------------------------------------------- Jan BelovedKilled { %s! NOOOO!!!! Watch out, %a, I'm gunning for you! }

Hatred { You mess with %s, you mess with me. } ------------------------------------------------------- Jedi BelovedKilled { You tempt me by attacking my friends, %a. I sense a tremor in the Force. } -------------------------------------------------------

Ciao

Well %s represents the the person they are emotionally attached to and %a is the person that killed them I think, you can set the hate and love level so if kyle dies and he's 1 on the emotional attachment list and desann kills him it will work.

That's what I thought at first but if you look at Tavion's botfile

Hatred { Prepare to feel the power of the Dark Side, %a! }

KilledHatedOne { Your defeat was much too fast, %s. }

Here both letters refer to the hated enemy!

%a looks like the person living, and %s is the person dead or killed.

Hummm... i never thought of that. Could be but here's a sample from Tavion:

BelovedKilled { %s! How could you do that, %a! [ %s = Loved one followed by %a = hated one ] %s! NO! [ %s = Loved one ] }

Hatred { For what you have done, you will pay, %s! [ %s= hated one ] }

I checked some of the other bot files and you could be right Red Rebel. Only Tavion seems to be different...

Anybody can comfirm?
