I have come to a conclusion that, SP coding wont allow persay all free-form accessable areas for coding. What I am asking is, Is it possible to treat a LAN style non-dedication HOST setup as a SP map? Seeing as Ja-plus v2.3 offers alot of uniqe gameplay. I am intrested in ventureing in a way to enable MP (private use) to allow the MP coding, and have it all act as if one was playing a offline story of any given game. I am thinking of a co-op portion too but mainly a Story based idea hopefully working on its own using Ja-plus v2.3 as if it was its own scripting for a regular SP story using a lan like non-dedication process. I know it is possible, Just a manner of how stable it all will turn out. Plus the lagg! If co-op does become a option.

Sooo, your asking if you can make a MP level act like a SP level, with a storyline and stuff? Short awenser-yes. You can make the right triggers, NPCS, and entitys to make a SP-like map. It will be somewhat lacking, because in MP mode for Radiant, it takes away a lot of things. Also, you wont be able to have cutscenes. But yeah, you can do something like it.

As for co-op. I always wondered why someone doesnt just make a co-op map then use the Duel gametype for it.

you can but MP will make it so most of the scripts you write for SP won't run. I have long wanted to make a co-op map for JKa but i never had the time.

and i don't think lag will be a problem bc it is only two prople even two people with dial up don'tr lag trust me I know

Well for any solid SP purposes, I mean nothing is persay impossible. If I wanted to add in cutscenes, I would do a movie MP type of deal. Record it and then playback to ROQ form and edit it with the nifty quake video maker. Only problem is I dont like is when you use QVM it doesnt bring video audio in, only way you could really decide to add any in is if you include a seperate wav or mp3 of its own.. Very tidious if you ask me! And I know for a fact SP and MP have different coding properties etc.. But if you think about it, most games now and days oddly require online play for some not all games.. Wether they are single player or mutli! If anything I will request for in game actors, as well a good varity of people who are mature age 19+ for voice acting. But this is way down the road, not even started yet. But in due time I shall post again with more in=depth WIP or questions if I need to ask of any... Which I doubt, but one never knows!
