regarding MAP & MOD... it's all a matter of perception... merely words... so don't get your panties in a twist
dude. You could have simply called this thread Final Fantasy RP Server info. Midgar 3.0 isn't a TC it's a map with some models in it. for MP nonetheless. you aren't bringing it back to life or prolonging it's life BECAUSE IT NEVER DIED! . and you need no permission for this stuff. Just say "Hey Guys, Check out my server/ ff rping clan and be sure to download the stuffpacks !" and everything would be peachy. Everything could have been averted with better wording.

Nobody ever said you did. I just said you put a map and a bunch of models on a server, and that anybody could do that, therefore this really doesn't belong in MME at all. Why this is in modding and editing, I'm not sure. This really belongs in Clan Forums or General Discussuion.
By the way, putting things in caps is really a bad idea when you want to draw people in to your server. It just makes yourself (the admin, presumably) look incredibly immature, since you cannot conduct yourself properly in a relatively informal setting. You are the admin, presumably? In that case, I probably might not want to come on to your server, seeing as how I'm afraid that I'll be zealously banned for doing the smallest thing.
Just some advice. :bandit:

It's not a matter of perception. A map is something you play on, as a level. A map is usually just a singular level, or perhaps a pack of levels. A mod can be a variety of things. There are stance mods, animation mods, effects mods, the great Total Conversions, take your pick. To continuously call something a mod, even though you're hosting a map on a server, and then become enraged at us for explaining this properly (and I will admit, that came off as a bit harsh) is sheer contempt on your behalf. Frankly, that can also be seen as an insult to some people, as that shows a lack of respect for people. ("Mods, maps? What's the difference? Nobody really cares, stop complaining")
I also lol'd at when you told me "not to get my panties in a twist", when you're the one talking in all caps.:)
