Hey all, As part of one of my 5 mods im currently part of, i need to make a farm-themed map with wheat fields. Ive already got the shader to add grass sprites, and ive made some wheat graphics for the sprites. My problem is that the grass is random and spread out, and to make a good field it needs to be tight together. Is there any way to make the sprites occur more in the shader? If not, is there any way to make a field (and im not goign to do models copies over and over since the framerate will go crazy. That's what he wants the shader to look like, kind of. That is not his map, it's a reference shot.

Anyone have a clue? Have a place i can check/post? Or does anyone have a better way of doing it? All help is greatly appreciated. Zem

what spacing the crop textures? i'd thought you'd make the field with brushes, but then again i'm no mapper either, you could always look at alotof the maps on JKfiles, some of them might have somehting similar to what you need.

yes, using the grass/crop sprite in the shader. Ill check, but i doubt there is anything. Anyone Else?
