Alright so I wanted to edit some force powers. MP or SP, doesn't matter. I want to make several force powers but I'm not sure if they are possible. 1) Force levitate: Take an object and make it levitate forward backward, up down, left right, etc. Not sure how to do this but just wondering. Even just one direction would help. Maybe it could move with the mouse like saber toss? 2) Force Destruction: Aim it somewhere and the selected object is destroyed. I'm thinking it is possible with somehow activating it via something you put in the map. Like if an object has func_breakable it will break when this power is used. Or maybe like force push when pushing walls that break. (Hopefully you remember this from SP. 3) Can I add force powers? I know this has been a no forever but it's worth a shot. 4) Can I change the area of a force power? Like making force push all around the user and pushes everyone away from you? Or perhaps the range of the lightning effect? If any of these are possible please post a Tut, tool, or some sort of advice on how to do it please. Thanks so much! :bows:

May be possible to move objects but there'd be no physics i.e if you put a cylinder on a ramp it wouldn't roll down.

Yes and yes as proven by mods such as moviebattles (force destruction, deadly sight) or OJP (force fall) though not all force power effects are possible due to the engine and some functions being hard coded or buggy. As for tutorials I can be know help there other than you'll need to learn C (and a bit of C++) coding and get to grips with the JA source code

The 360 degree push is possible, I know that much. FMIII does it. Unfortunately, the animation used for it looks bizzare. Oh well. If you could edit force grip, so that it did no damage, you could sort of turn that into some sort of force levitation or telekinesis. It might also be possible to create, for example, a crate NPC. I guess it would have no AI, and would just sit there, waiting to be thrown about. Just my idea.

For one week only. Then I'm back at school to alot of exams.

The only problem being that it wouldn't react to hitting something, it would always stay in the same orientation i.e. always upright unless someone did some very fancy coding.

Well y'know when something breaks it flips and reacts with the environment? Maybe something like that but without the breaking stage. Plus it can't disappear. Maybe something will be possible.

There is a physics system in JA, it's just not used as much as it should be. If you drop your lightsaber, it will bounce and roll down steps or ramps. I wonder why Ravensoft put that in, but didn't use physics for other, more important things.

Probably because lightsabers are simple objects that don't have that complicated a geometry.
