Hi guys. Now I think this might be impossible for the engine to do but is it possible for a func_train to act as a normal train would going round a track, I mean actually turning with the track? If thats not possible is there a way to create a curve for it to follow without having to put 100's of path corners to make a smooth curve? Cheers Sathiron :smokin:

Aye, I'd love to be able to make it follow the track! I know it's possible, cuz they did it in a SP level.

I did a quick search and came up with a very interesting mod for Quake 2 called Lazarus (http://www.planetquake.com/lazarus/) which would do that and a lot more, but I'm pretty sure that's doesn't edi Jedi Academy.

Thanks for the help, But I want it to really run on a clean install of JKA without the need for any mods to be included in the pk3 -ll-

You may have seen it in my north pole map, but I have a train in there that follows around a perfect circle. If you want it to follow a perfect circular track then just make it a func_rotate by putting the origin in the middle of the circle and the train on one end of the circle and it should work fine.

Yeah, but if the track is shaped like, say this 'B", you want only certain sections to be a nice circle and then maybe a straight track. A train made with rotating is extremely limited in use.
