Can anyone tell me how to make a func_train with many pieces? i want something a little more complex then a scare platform. also is it at all possible to make a func_train with something else, such as a func_rotating, that move together?

You can make func_train in more 'pieces', of course. You just have to make that you want to be func_train , select it all, and make it func_train . You cannot combine any 2 entities (I think)

Yeah, just make your complicated func_train then select it all. Draco is also right about the part where you cant combine two entities. Otherwise wed have ships we could go inside and fly in by now.

thx and its too bad i cant combine entities itd be cool to be droped off in a troop helocopter.... but if you made it so the prop blades wernt visable from inside you could make the blades at the destination and move the train into positon so when you get out of the copter you see propeller blades "attached" to the helocopter. thx for the help ppl.

How do you set a func_train to draw a model? My thinking is that you could animate the model.

You can, its how the cload car floats in that bespin duel map. Make a func_train and add the key "model2" and the value of the location to the model.

Cool. So could you then animate that? For instance, making spinning rotor blades?
