1 more question lassev. When i enter your map "Syndicate" i see some credits standing when the map starts. Whats the code in a script to let text like that appear in the screen without players have to turn subtitles on?

Here's part of the script that displayed the actor credits:

rem ( "shows actor credits in the beginning of the game play" ); wait ( 3300.000 ); print ( "Serpent Code Productions Presents" ); set ( /*@SET_TYPES*/ "SET_CENTERTEXTCOLOR", "WHITE" ); set ( /*@SET_TYPES*/ "SET_CENTERTEXT", "@PUZZLER_LINE1" ); wait ( 3000.000 ); print ( "Syndicate:Initiation" ); set ( /*@SET_TYPES*/ "SET_CENTERTEXTCOLOR", "WHITE" ); set ( /*@SET_TYPES*/ "SET_CENTERTEXT", "@PUZZLER_LINE2" ); wait ( 3000.000 ); print ( "Richard 'frances_farmer' White" ); set ( /*@SET_TYPES*/ "SET_CENTERTEXTCOLOR", "WHITE" ); set ( /*@SET_TYPES*/ "SET_CENTERTEXT", "@PUZZLER_LINE3" );

Now, those lines starting with print don't do anything in game, actually. They are just there to remind me which line is which. The set_centertext lines get the string information from the subtitle file, which has the actual printed text stored, just like your regular subtitle info. The entry names are LINE1, LINE2 etc... The SET_CENTERTEXT", "@PUZZLER_LINE#" prints the text on screen.

No, I don't know why they are acting weird. The cameras in my maps never do, and they are done exactly like was descriped in those tutorials.

You target a ref_tag to a info_null, then you set the camera MOVE to the ref_tag origin, then the camera PAN to the ref_tag angles. There's nothing else to do. If you get some arbitrary panning for your camera, it either means the ref_tag doesn't have angles (meaning the targeting a another entity doesn't work), or there's a syntax error in your camera PAN command. No other explanations, and both can be avoided my meticulous following of those tutorials.

We can eliminate the script issue if you post the relevant part of your script here, though. For the mapping part, just check you have targeted your ref_tag to something, not the other way around.

Still a question: My player starts with zero force and only a saber that he cant use. How to let him use the saber and how to give him Force powers? I mean whats the code for scripts to give powers?

I don't quite know how you can have a saber, yet be unable to use it (maybe you have the weapons locked), but force power script commands are quite obvious and self-explanatory. Just have a look at the set commands in BehavEd. Remember to affect the player.

lassevRemember to affect the player.

I know how to affect. But, how to affect the player? Is it affect / player ? Cus a info_player_start doesnt has a targetname.
