This is for my Gensun skin, V3, (V2 is waiting to be uploaded to filefront) Ive come across a bit of a problem with the glow mapping,

heres the tunic2_glow.jpg tunic2glowkh0.jpg

the base tunic2.jpg (its going to have a new texture, but leaving it as the base for this, dont want it stolen :rolleyes:) tunic2xg1.jpg

and this is the shader models/players/Gensun/Tunic2 { { map models/players/Gensun/Tunic2 blendFunc GL_ONE GL_ZERO rgbGen lightingDiffuse detail } { map models/players/gensun/tunic2_glow blendFunc GL_SRC_ALPHA GL_ONE detail glow alphaGen lightingSpecular } { map models/players/Gensun/Tunic2 blendFunc GL_SRC_ALPHA GL_ONE detail alphaGen lightingSpecular } }

any ideas whats going on?

Are you sure you have dynamic glow turned on?

You don't even tell what you tried to do and how it failed with that shader... Your thread title just says you have a glow shader problem, but your post doesn't even tell what kind of problem.

Maybe your problem is that your glow stage is specular. You would only notice it every now and then because of that. (Also, you should make a proper specular texture for the real specular shader stage. Reusing the core texture there won't produce amazing results. The "alphaGen lightingSpecular" won't do much on its own - it's all about the texture.)

I don't know your problem, but I'd set the shader up like this: models/players/Gensun/Tunic2 { { map models/players/Gensun/Tunic2 blendFunc GL_ONE GL_ZERO rgbGen lightingDiffuse } { map models/players/gensun/tunic2_glow blendFunc GL_ONE GL_ONE rgbGen identity detail glow } }
