Just wondering how you use them, I'm talking about the glow shaders for doors and lights. I tried just putting a brush covered in a glow inside a brush with a door and it didn't work.

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks. :borg:

u must have at least something like this on the shader...

texturefolder/texture { { map texturefolder/texture rgbGen lightingDiffuse //alphaFunc GE128 } { map texturefolder/glowtexture blendFunc GL_ONE GL_ONE glow } }

where "texturefolder/texture" is the door texture and "texturefolder/glowtexture" is the image for the glows on the door...

You should remove the commented out alphaFunc. :)

Actually, though, let's change the shader up a bit to include a lightmap:

textures/texturefolder/texture

(any parms you want here)

{ { map $lightmap } { map textures/texturefolder/texture blendFunc GL_DST_COLOR GL_ZERO rgbGen identity } { map textures/texturefolder/glow_texture blendFunc GL_ONE GL_ONE glow } }

I'm a tad confused by that. I don't suppose anybody asked it, so I'll risk looking like an idiot to check...do you know how to make custom shader files? You need to put the code given a few posts up into a custom shader, edit the texture paths as you need to, add the shader name to shaderlist.txt and apply the shader directly to your door.
