i added the import and export glm scripts to gmax but i cant get them to work. i out them in gmax/scripts/startup. am i only supposed to put themin gmax/scripts?

you can edit the moedls so y bother? or send me a script and ill try

the import script is pretty important to scale the model down to the right size. and without the export script i wouldnt be able to get the model in-game.

I believe the importer script should be in gmax/scripts while the exporter plugin should be in gmax/plugins.

If you're trying to edit player models, go ahead. But you will not be able to get them ingame. Only 3dsMax and XSI|Mod can export to the required .XSI format that is used to create your model.
