Hello there everyone,
I was recommended this part of the forum to help me out with this request (by one of my clan members, since he could not figure out this error himself).
For the record, I have done some "just-for-fun" mapping on CS:S using the Hammer Tool, and GTK seems quite a lot like it.
But anyway, getting to the error. It seems that I cannot load textures (or shaders if you will) when applying them to any brush. It just has this repeated blue/or red texture that has in bold letters, "SHADER IMAGE MISSING." I will post some of the errors that I get in console, and maybe this will help you a bit more:
This is the first red text message in the console:
Unable to find default tag file I:/Program Files/GtkRadiant 1.5.0/ja.game/shadertags.xml. No tag support.
And this happens when I try to lead a texture set from my computer:
Texture load failed: "textures/bespin/basic" Texture load failed: "textures/bespin/basic2" Texture load failed: "textures/bespin/botton" Texture load failed: "textures/kejim/grate02_broke" Texture load failed: "textures/bespin/control02" Texture load failed: "textures/bespin/control03" Texture load failed: "textures/bespin/floor" Texture load failed: "textures/bespin/floor3" Texture load failed: "textures/bespin/hydraulic" Texture load failed: "textures/bespin/mp_b_light04" Texture load failed: "textures/bespin/mp_r_light04" Texture load failed: "textures/bespin/n_floor01" Texture load failed: "textures/bespin/n_floor02" Loaded Texture: "textures/skies/sky" Texture load failed: "textures/bespin/u_floor03" Texture load failed: "textures/bespin/u_floor04" Texture load failed: "textures/bespin/u_light02" Texture load failed: "textures/bespin/u_light04" Texture load failed: "textures/bespin/u_metalgreen" Texture load failed: "textures/bespin/u_metalorange" Texture load failed: "textures/bespin/u_metalorange02" Texture load failed: "textures/bespin/water1" Showing 28 shaders.
Something else that may be useful to you all is that I had to replace my old hard-drive (C:\) and I think my parents hooked it up fishily and now my Hard Drive/Local Disk is labeled as the (I:\) and one of our camera-card slots is labeled as the (C:\). I know all programs automatically load from C:\ and we've had problems installing some things in the past, but I do not know if it was solely this, but I thought it'd drop as much fact down.
Thanks so very much.
EDIT -- I thought I'd also give you a picture, and I forgot to mention that this happened on 1.4.0 as well, and I even re-installed both of them and nothing worked.
From the screenie it looks like the program is defaulting the JA location to C, and if what I think youre saying is true (C is camera, I is HDD) youll need to change the location that GTK looks for textures and stuff. I would give you a step by step but Im kind of busy right now
Ah, thanks for the info! After you told me that I looked around for where GTK would be loading from. I had the instinct to goto Preferences and that was the answer
Edit > Preferences > Paths
Thanks buddy, much appreciated. :bows:
Not so innocent?
