Please use Google in future. PLEASE.

"Yup... you've basically made your map to big! You've used up your allotted VIS data (it's around 2mb I think [2,040,000 as you see it reported in GTK bsp monitoring] someone will correct me on this though.) [Kat]

additional note (1) : Or use detail better so that the BSP is less complicated, and so requires less vis data. [djbob]

additional note (2) : Actually, it has nothing to do with the size of your map, but rather the structural complexity. Rather than cut down your map, you may want to consider rebuilding it taking vis into account.

Every structural brush face in a map has an associated plane. The higher the number of unique structural planes, the larger your vis data will be."

So basically, use detail brushes (more effectively)

See here for a guide on how to do that.

GtkRadiant under Windows 7 - Splash Damage Forums

1. Simple way I'm not sure this way will work for GtkRadiant but I will explain it anyway. Right click on Notepad and click Run As Administrator. Now you should be able to save new files in you harddisk. If you still experience problems you have to follow step 2.

2. Advanced way With this step you make all programs able to edit your harddisk. There are 2 accounts in Windows 7. Your account and the administrator account. You're account doesn't have the full rights to edit the system. That is what we're going to change. Right click on the drive where you installed Wolfenstein and GtkRadiant and select properties. Open the tab-page Security (Lab) and click Advanced (right bottom). Go to the tab-page Owner and select you Edit (left bottom). Click on your account and click on OK. Now press on every open window you just opened OK to close them.

Open GtkRadiant and open the empty map file. Create a brush and click on save (NOT save as). Now create a new map and open the .map file again. Your able to save your work again!

NOTE: Replace 'Wolfenstein' with Jedi Academy if it makes you feel better.

See if all that works (I searched 'gtkradiant couldn't save no brush selected' and picked the first entry. It's that easy! Try google/preferred search engine first!)
