I have a type of "shop" in my map where you can press a button and a gun appears. I want to make it so that:
1) The gun can spawn infinite times 2) The gun will ONLY appear if the button is pressed, if it is picked up, it will not respawn until the button is pressed again.
I added the key wait and a value of -1 to the gun, so that it will not respawn, but the gun only spawns once when I press the button. What is the key to have it spawneable infinite times for guns? It's count -1 for NPCs, but the count is ammo for the guns, so what do i do?
Ok, my advice use a trigger_multiple. I can geuss u are using a button, but don't. I just tried it. Set it up, put a trigger_multiple yady yady, u should know that part and just do the ctrl+k thing with it and it should work everytime. But if u want it to look like a button, make a door function that looks like the button and make it go the right way and it will look good:)

umm yea i had this problem with my armory in my sith council map.. i want to do what u are looking to do but i counlt find a way.. i tried with a med pack but it does the same.... i tried many things.. maybe it needs to be scripted or somthing

Kahn, i was kinda almost sure i was going to get your opinion on this since you had the similar thing in the armory, but the problem is still that: the gun spawns once.
If you see my map Darken, you will see that I have bacta canisters that can spawn by the button, but that is because the bactas do not have anything set for the count key, so the count key acts like it would with an NPC, in other words how many times the item can respawn.
Like I said before, the gun's count key is not the amount of times it can respawn, but the amount of bullets the gun gives. Could I in any way script it to be different? I have no experience in scripting at all, so I would need a lot of help on that though.

Meush, target_give gives the person who presses the button the gun, I want it to spawn on the other side of the bar in a room where the players can take the weapons they "buy". I don't want the shopkeeper himself to get the gun. Any suggestions?
Did you try what i said? Make a trigger_multiple that spawns the gun, it work beautifully for me:)

but the gun will last and respawn all over again. Anyway, why do you need to complicate the stuff?
