Gunslinger's Academy is a Jedi Academy Mod which aims to bring game experiences (paralleling Counter-Strike: Source and Call of Duty 4) from First Person Shooters to JKA.

I rebuilt the entire code from scratch, and the result? A much better version.

=Code= June 2nd - Players can now choose their Primary Weapon, Side Arm, and Explosives (and they are randomized, by default, for bots mostly) a la Call of Duty 4. - 64 player support (thanks to BobaFett for this) - Jedi Master has been tweaked, so has duels - Wookiee Bowcaster bug fixed June 1st - Overhauled CG (client game) to include a new chatbox (that will display messages at the bottom of the screen for CTF and the like) - Started some preliminary testing to stamp out bugs - Started some work on "Team Spawners", that will make sure your team is together at the beginning of a TFFA/CTF match - Chat sound (the "beep" sound you hear when you chat) varies between team chat/regular chat - CTF noises/messages for "Red has taken the lead/Blue has taken the lead/The teams are tied" now play in TFFA. ----- Memorial Day, 2010 - Started rebuild of Gunslinger's Academy. The following is a list of things completed: - Weapon firing rates/damages adjusted - Stun Baton has been totally reworked as a Cobra Stun Gun. The primary fire operates as a normal Stun Baton, while the secondary shoots two electrodes that cause a heavy amount of damage. Uses the rocket ammo as a base (will be changed later, so all weapons use different ammo) - CTF has been changed slightly. Instead of the announcer saying, "The red team has stolen the flag", he/she says "The enemy has stolen our flag!". This works perfectly as intended. In the future, CTF messages will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.

Gunslinger's Academy is a realistic shooter mod for Jedi Academy, and will feature a completely new arsenal of weapons. Among them will be semiautomatic, automatic, and burst-fire weapons.
-The weapons list- =Side Arms= 9mm Glock (replaces Bryar Pistol, semi) - Balanced pistol, but relatively weak .44 Magnum (replaces DEMP2, semi) - Strong, but slow Steyr TMP (replaces E-11, full auto) - Weak, but quick COBRA stun gun (replaces Stun Baton, semi/melee) - Strongest, but low range, and it's very quick =Primary Weapons= .50 Anti-material Sniper Rifle (replaces Disruptor, semi) - Extremely strong, with long range. Single shot. UMP .45 (replaces Bowcaster, burst) - Balanced sub machine gun with somewhat fast attack and a nice punch as well as being very accurate. M16 (replaces Repeater, full auto) - Faster than the UMP, weaker and innaccurate, but it has a grenade launcher AK-47 (replaces Trip Mines, full auto) - Faster than the UMP and slightly stronger, but very innaccurate at range Benelli Nova (replaces Flechette, semi) - Slow, strong, and innaccurate at range. M249 SAW (replaces Concussion Rifle, full auto) - Slower than the UMP, but very strong. =Explosives= RPG-7 (replaces Rocket Launcher, semi) - Good range, but can be shot down. Very dangerous in close quarters. Grenades (replaces Thermal Detonator) - Has a nice sting to them. Flashbang (replaces old Bryar Pistol) - Blinds nearby targets. C4 (replaces Detonation packs)

There's no texture in your PK3. Is that intentional?
Yes, I can't UV Map, therefore theres no texture
Now's a good time to learn how to UV map then :D It's a good start though - maybe add some recoil to the weapons? :)

I was planning on doing this, along with kill streaks, achievements, and more. But you probably already knew this. :D
Long time no post. But I have news (and cookies). June 9th- - Kill streaks are now properly displayed in the Event Box - Obituaries are now displayed in the chat box (but can be taken out of there using a cvar) - Item messages ("Obtained Power Cell Ammo") are now properly displayed in the event box - Started work on achievements. So far it can read "achievements.dcc", but not transfer any data (yet). There are currently 51 achievements that can be unlocked (total? I'm thinking somewhere between 400 and 700)
No point in compiling a model if it isn't UV mapped since you're just gonna have to redo it.
