ok skinnerz, can u help me out? First skin I have ever made and the head does NOT show in JA! In modview everything looks fine. In JA when you load the skin the body is there with arms and legs, the eyes are there as well. the head and hair are missing though. When you use say force protect it outlines the hair and head so its like invisible jpgs or something. PLEASE HELP! either post here or send email to myself, madmax4a@yahoo.com:mad:

Make sure you put the head texture in the PK3.

The one and onlyChack the .skin file for misspellings.

If it works fine in ModView that's probably not it.

Actually, i wouldnt be suprised if it was a typo. if you dont select a .Skin file, all the files the model SHOULD read will appear in modview.

It is possible that it is a JK2 model not a JK3 model. That could cause a prob.

No, that WOULDNT cause a problem. You wont have a missing texture because of that, the model would just be seriously deformed. Plus, putting a jk2 model in jk3 WILL work, it wont the other way around, however.

I will recheck the spelling, thought if it works in modviewer fine than the skin file was good. It is not a JK2 file so that rules that out. Its not just one file that is missing its 3. The head, top of hair, and long hair. Is there a color restriction as far as numbers of colors or something in JKa? In modview the model looks great, animations are great to. I will recheck spelling and let you know. Thanks for the feedback and if you have any more let me know, want a screenshot?
