How to edit SP storylines? Now, what a philosophic question... Or just a vague one.

To have a technical look, you need to have your own menuscreen. And make it truly your own, otherwise people are in doubt whether your mod really loaded. Have your own background image and music, and there's no room for doubt (yes, you can tell I have some issues here...). Depending on your preferences, you can start your level right away from the new game menu, or you can allow the character creation (a bad idea if you have cinematic) and/or the saber selection. Then you just use the gamestart.cfg to launch your own map instead of the Raven original maps. That's the technical point of your own storyline. Target_level_change takes you from one level to the next.

Technical details are the subtitle files, which you have one for each bsp (assuming you have cinematics requiring subtitles, since subtitles are not displayed when player control is on), and custom end credits, and your own entries in briefings & objectives files, for example. You'll find this stuff in strings/english subfolder, and it has been discussed numerous times here and elsewhere. But bear in mind custom strings won't work in JA unless you load the mod using a batch file. The SP menu load mod option is defective.

If I failed to give the exact answer you were looking for, you have to elaborate. The term "Editing SP storyline" doesn't really mean anything unambiguous in my opinion.
