With Regards, ~Darth Mak~,the noob(CURRNETLY).
Why not just unwrap it yourself? There are plenty of tutorials around the internet that can help you learn how, and it would be better to learn and stop relying on everyone else.
i noe that...but everytime I try to do that I fail.....and i cannot find a tutorial other than listed in Inyri's....if u noe any gimme da link..
It depends on the program you're using. If you're using gmax, Inyri's should be enough of a tutorial to get you started for something as simple as a saber hilt.
lol... for a saber hilt: unwrap uvw unwrap method = cylinder ??? profit!

^Win. Guess who's back... Unless you made a ridiculously complex hilt, it should be a pretty straight-forward affair. Not meaning to be offensive - when I did my first (few) hilts, I had polies, verts and whatnot all over the shop, which meant selecting faces was stupidly hard. I still don't fully get how it all works, but I followed the tutorial and it (eventually) worked. I didn't need the 'cylinder' option, though where/whatever it is, it sounds helpful... seeing how hilts are... cylindrical... sometimes...? (Trust me, I got 2 Maths A-Levels)
