EDIT : I removed Alpha mapping from the shader Cull twosided is disabled
I dunno why it fucks up that badly when I enable alpha mapping [COLOR=Red] FINAL EDIT[/COLOR]
[COLOR=White]I won ![/COLOR] I swapped the blendFunc to GL_ONE GL_ZERO and added alphaFunc GE128 , cull twosided was added too and now : sadly I got very sharp edged transparency now but that's better than no alpha mapping at all !
JA's shaders are a bitch to work with when it comes to transparency.
Try using a 2-bit alpha. It won't look as good, but it'll give you transparency. And if all else fails, make the feathers a separate mesh with a separate texture. That way, when you add the transparency, it won't screw up the rest of the hilt.
