Well,, I'm trying to make some fog in my map. It shows up right (in one low lit room), but everywhere else the annoying red foglike stuff appears. It works fine when I use an included fog shaders, but when I make my own, it gives the ugly red problem.

here is what it says. textures/abandoned/fog_d1_abandoned { qer_editorimage textures/abandoned/fog.tga qer_nocarve surfaceparm nonsolid surfaceparm nonopaque surfaceparm fog surfaceparm trans q3map_nolightmap fogparms ( 0.390196 0.390196 0.390196 ) 3500.0 cull twosided }

I snipped one of the included fogs shaders and edited it. The fog.tga is just a blank (white) tga file. When I keep the "qer_editorimage" original location, the problem persists. :clueless: :kerian:

Try looking at original fogs. Check one you like, and copy it. Replace path and some properties, but: Every time you change something, save backup version, and check that new wersion works

Alright, I got it working. It was wierd. I edited the parts one by one, ending up with the same as the one written above. All I did was create a seperate shader named "fogs". All my texture shaders were in a single shader file, but after I created another one, oddly enouph, the fog started to work properly.

Thanks for the help :)
