Ok so i reskinned anakins jedi starfighter and made it spawnable under a diff name. but when i spawn it, it appears invisible and when i try and enter it my game crashes. Can anyone help me?
i bet you didnt change the .veh file or something
I am having the EXACT same problem. What I'm trying to do is use an existing model (in my case, ATST) but with different features. Its using the same exact skin as the original one, same guns, sounds, etc. I've copied the original NPC/VEH files and changed the needed names to my new ATST name (ATSTMOD). But for whatever reason, it won't show up with a skin in the game and crashes to desktop when I try to use it. In VEH I changed the name at the top (name), vehiclename, and modelname, which is what the "how to get vehicles in-game" tutorial said to do. The NPC file had the top name changed to match the new name. Also, both files were changed to the new name. I'm just lost at this point, and I'd really like to get it working.

Alright, I'm an idiot. I didn't put all the stuff into a PK3 when I was testing it. PK3'ing it did the trick. Now I just need to fix up some model parts and I'm good to go. However the new problem is that I can't find JAPack that was suppose to come from Raven software. I need it for the various tools it has like assimilate (needed to recompile a model, to get it into GLM format). Any ideas where I can find it?
I checked there and searched through both JK2 and JK3 sections. Nothing found. :(
