Im getting an annoying problem with a sword model I have made where if I look at it in-game the sides that are facing the camera do not show and you can see through it to the sides that should be hidden. Here is a pic to show what is happening, and what it looks like in modview.


As you can se on the left the bottom of the handle, the tsuba and the wee metal thing that holds the balde are all see through on the side facing the camera. In the right picture taken in modview it all looks fine. Im not using any custom chaders or anything like that which could cause this.

Oh and while im here does anyone know if its possible to use surface sprites on a hilt?

its like that because you exported the model with the polygons facing inward, the game doesnt render polygons as 2 sided so thats why it appears see through. turn on backface culling in whatever software youre using so you dont do this again.
