Help!
There are "holes" in my map o_O I can look through some brushes. But not from every side o_O
In GTK Radiant everything looks right:

But ingame there are these "holes":

But they are not on every side of the brush...

And I wonder, because I have the same brushes at the other side of the map and there are NO errors... I just copied the whole wall, rotated it and put it at the other side... but there appear these errors :(
I build another object and deleted some of the no-needed things by "hollowing" the brushes and deleting some of the sides in the interrior of the object... But ingame I can also look through some brushes of the object :(
Hey man Lookin good!!
Hey! Someone provided screenshots!!!!! *applause*
I'm thinking a brush cleanup as well. Also, try making the affected brushes into detail brushes (select and hit ctrl+M)
[off-topic] And also, as a side note, be sure to use ctrl+shift+click to further align your textures ;) Looks like you have a couple misaligned ones. But on the whole, that's not looking bad. I like that wall.
Oh, you may want to fix the grate so that it's transparent, too. It's not hard. [/off-topic]
Spineless;4605841Have you ran brush cleanup?[/quote]
Yes but it did not help... I made the "wrong" brushes new... now everything is okay :/
tdawg2099;4606038Hey man Lookin good!!Thank you :)

Yeah, I know about CTRL+SHIFT+CLICK, but first I wanted to build the map... Perfect texturing will be my last step ^^
But now I've another problem... WHY can I see the "X-Y-Z-Angles"???!?!?!

I think there's something like an invisible entity, or not? But I can't see anything in the Editor and everything is unhided... But I can see these angles at the same place in the Editor (but ONLY in the GRID-VIEW, NOT in 3D-Camera!!!)
Be sure all your filters are off.
You're using 1.5, and I don't know the hotkeys for it.......try drag selecting that area, however 1.5 handles that.
All filters were off I think, but I fixed it by moving the whole map to another place
Hmm but I've a new problem... I got this Error:
MAX_MAP_VISIBILITY exceeded
I have about 50 Entities and 1046 Brushes... What can I do?
Make most of your brushes detail.
If your entire map is just that hangar, then you'll have no problem - make it all detail and throw a structural box of caulking around it, hollow it and you're done. If there are hallways or other rooms, you'll need to post a picture of your map layout.

Hmm I wanted to build about 6 or 7 rooms.... But the other rooms will be smaller... I think I'll need about 2000 brushes for the whole map... The hangar is nearly done...
So what do I have to do, when I have more than 1 room? There is already a hollowed Brush around the whole map:

Very nice looking map, look forward to seeing it when it's finished.
Hope you don't mind me asking this but I thought it'd be better than starting a new topic:
Make most of your brushes detail.
What does it change / do when you make the brushes detail and why does it improve performance (or so I've heard), just curious.
