Try searching. I found a toutorial that was really really easy to follow. Also you don't need any special software for it. If i remembered what you had to do i'd tell ya but the best i can say is search or try pcgamemods.com and search for toutorials for jk2. Download it and it has bot routes in it. Works for jka too.
There is a sticky thread called "Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy modding tutorials - read it before you post" Seem's you haven't read it. Shame on you.
Go here, here is that tutorial thread: http://www.gamingforums.com/showthread.php?t=135195
What I want to know (and I made a post about this earlier but nobody responded) is if I create a bot route file for my map, but then later go back into my map and change anything (like adding a model somewhere, or tweak the lighting), would I have to make a totally new bot route?
No. The botroute is just bunch of points positioned tru the map. But! If you create the wall between two points, it will be difficult for bot to reach next waypoint.
Yeah, I figured as much on that...I was mainly just wondering if I had to totally redo one if I had to tweak something on the map and recompile after I had already done the route. Thanks Meush...you can delete my other thread if you find it (it's probably still on the first page). Just one other question though...the tutorial I found for bot routing was for JO...is it any different than JA's method, or is it pretty much exactly the same?
Exacly the same. And don't care about old thread...
