Okay, I don't know how to delete previous posts, so please don't freak out if you notice. I did just ask for somebody to make me a mod, but I sort of feel bad for that. I don't like to 'enlist' people, or ask random people for favors, having them take time out of their day to help somebody they don't even know.

To the point, if somebody can instruct me on how to (with permission) perhaps take the traditional jedi robes off from another model and put them onto Jaden, hooded and non hooded both, I'd appreciate it.

This is all I want to do. If it's as simple as cut and paste, then that's exactly what I'd love to do. I don't want to get into any serious modding, I just want this character, and don't want to bother people with making it.\

What I'm looking for are small programs that can do this. Any instructional guide would tell me how to skin or to model, and I just want to know if there's some sort of cut and paste option, and if so, how.

Well too late, i already replied!, but to answer your questions...

You'd need 3d studio max (4 up to 8) or XSI to do it, if you don't have access to any of them, forget about it. It's not exactly cut and paste. In short, you have to weight meshes to the skeleton, link them together, export then compile & pray.
