Hi all. Um... my question is above. How do I make a switch-activated elevator in gtk radiant? I looked at Rich Diesals tutorials but they aren't really working for me. I also would like to know how to make a circular cylindrical elevator for use in a Death Star/Star Destroyer Map. Help would be greatly appreciated. I want your answer to be clear and to the point.

Hmmm Need In-depth Explanation eh? TIME TO GO ADVANCE REPLY!

Okay! For Your Elevator you're going to make a brush (that is your elevator) And Make it a func_door.

Alright. Now You're gonna make it "angle" "-1" or "angle" "-2" [Use w/o Quotes (-1 or -2 depending which direction its going)]

Now You need to count how many game units your elevator is going to move and type "lip" ""

Now add "targetname" "elevator"

Hallelujah! Now for The button:

Use w/e You want for your button but surround it in a brush and texture it with "textures/system/trigger"

Make it a trigger_multiple and set "target" "elevator"

Now add "Spawnflags" "4" (Or do use_button)

Good Game. That is all! Have fun!

Also, for your cylindrical Elevator, Just make a 16-20 Sided Brush.
