If you compiled it just go into your game consul and type /map and the directory and name of your map. Example your map is named Mymap.bsp and it is in the maps/mp folder you type map mp/mymap

go into a map that you downloaded and there should be a scripts folder unzip that and edit it in notepad if you map is called first in the map area type first and in the long name type what ever you want it to show up in then in type you can put seige ffa duel or whatever type you want and go into JA and you should see it in there

I created my map using GTK Radiant so i have a .map file. I have Q3 build as a compiler but i cant get past the entries path thing at the beginning. What should i do for the path statements for JA because this thing was made for Q3 and i dont have that.and it cant find any Q3 maps in my gamedata/base ect. files.

wow...

try setting up gtk correctly, use this tutorial: http://richdiesal.jedioutcastmaps.com/tutorials/gc101lsn2.html

yes it's set up for JK2 radient but it's the same set up.

don't worry about the menu commands yet if you just set the paths correctly then you can chose the bsp options they radient supplies, stick with that for now... there's plenty of time to learn about compile processes later.

No No No your problem probly is you downloaded GTKradient 5.0 and it doesnt compile wright. You must have gtkradien 4.0 for JA mapping or it you wil need a different compiler and it just gets more complicated...
