Ok sorry for asking a noobish question but.... HOW DO I PUT MUSIC IN MY MAP??????

please give me a DETAILED, IN DEPTH explanation and you will receive a big thank you from me. :)

1. Select a brush in your map (one that is static, not a door etc.) 2. Press 'n' on your keyboard 3. In the Key field, enter 'music' 4. In the Value field, enter the filename of the music from the Base folder (like music/mapname/mapname.mp3) 5. Press Enter

I get this error in game: MP3ERR: Source file is not sampled @44100!(music/mapname/mapname.mp3 MP3ERR: Source file is not sampled @44100!(music/mapname/mapname.mp3

What? How? Why? How do you tie your shoelaces?

When he wrote "music/mapname/mapname.mp3" he meant something like "music/hoth2/hoth2_action.mp3" or "music/t2_dpred/impbaseb_action.mp3". You know, the folder name for the map and the filename for the music you want to play in that map?

If you want to know what music there is available to you, open assets0.pk3 in something like winzip or winrar or whatever you use to open .zip files. They're all there.

Then make a folder in the music folder and change the value to something like music//.mp3

You know, there is a Master Sticky on this I do believe ... Hmmm Guess there isn't, *looks at the search button* But Yea, Make a folder in your pk3 named music and put a MP3 (mp3 is foolproof, most of the time) and set up the correct path in the world spawn.
