I'm very interested in creating a vehicle for JK3, but I have never modded anything for the quake three engine. Can soembody tell me what programs i need to get started, and perhaps point me to a tutorial.

Notepad and Pakscape, and if you want a custom model, then a modelling program. If you don't use 3DS Max, then you need someone to convert for you. Very hard for a beginner. No tutorials. Man, I love being the bearer of bad news to n00bs. Uh, er, I mean I hatebeing the bearer of bad news! Yes! That's it!

When it comes to modelling, I'm out of my depth. All I know is that to get it in-game you need 3DS Max. And as for making Gmax 3DS Max, I don't know if it's possible. Probably not, though.
