I've been trying to do this for a really long time, and No one has been able to help me do it. Can someone please walk me through how to take two or more models and merge them together?

I am not a modeler, but I believe you do in fact need a modeling program. It's a question of importing each one into the same model file.
Also, you'll probably have to reweigh them when you're done.
...Unless the parts keep the weighting or something...

Nah, any edits to the mesh itself and the whole thing is pretty much gonna lose all it's UWV mapping and weighting data. It'll have to be prepared as if it were a new model.
I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.
I've seen it done though.. Could it be done with a FREE modelling program and if so what? The ones I have seen have the same UVW unwrapping and weighing as the originals.
WTF ?! BOOOOOOOM !

gmax is free but you sadly cant make playermodels with it and even thoug I got 3ds max I cant make playermodels becuase I have v9 and the needed plugins work only with v 4 and 5 :(

Try looking into XSI Mod Tools... personally, I didn't like it, but I know it can be used for playermodels. I was just lucky enough to have a crazy family member find 3DS Max 7 super cheap somewhere.
Sigh I've looked into those and couldn't find anything to use with it...I Saw in a another topic here someone had something called a .gla file merger or something and they were having an error. Anyone know where I could find something lie that?
