ok i'm making a small sp mod and i was wondering how to make an intro video like all starwars games have?
I mean like:
blablabla blablalblabla bla.
blablablablablabla blablablablablablablablabla blablabla BLABLA blablablabla blablabla blablablablablablabla blablabla.
well you could use windows movie maker and the a text thing scrolling up, and make it look like the star wars, when your done go to frame one click the next frame buttom, snapshot, again and again about 1000-2000 times, then convert the images to .tga then use the JK2Tool Kits .ROQ compiler use the tutorial in the tool kit to compile it to set up the rest. good luck
that will probably take A really long time (so you might wanna make this A big SP mod)
there is a better way.. theres a very good script for macromedia Director which makes text into "starwars-text". then it can export every single frame into .tga at once. then make it a .roq. but.. to do that you need macromedia director..
...Yeah, but for jedi academy you just have to edt a single .tga image that has all the text on it. I think its in the menus folder.
hmm is there ways to change loading screens for levels as well?
Levelshots. Just make a levelshot as you would for your own maps, except name it the name of the map you want to overwrite the loading screen for. Then, when you pk3 it, just make sure the name of the pk3 begins with any letter from B-Z. The game will read the new levelshot as opposed to the default one.
I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.
Darth theres a new thread for castlevania as a map
yeah i know but if u still wanna know about thos loading screens. it's simple there's a derictory within the main pk3 simply repleace it with a same size jpg and it works.
