That is the question basicly. What are next steps after I have my model of hilt created in my 3D package (Maya in my case) , how can I get it work in ja+ .It would be great if you give me some type of a link on an article , because google did not give me any results:(

A lot of tutorials, are listed in the Tutorials & Tools thread pinned at the top of the Modding & Editing forum. Might want to take a look at it if you're newer to modding, plenty of useful information.


I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

Can you please tell me is there a complete tutorial how to get your model intj game , I mean as a character you can play in multiplayer . I have a 6 years expirience in Maya and modeling is not a problem , but everything after is a pain in the but . How to make it work with skeleton of JA engine? A lot of questions...

I don't know that there was a skeleton released for Maya. I think there may be an XSI plugin though if you're using one of the recent versions of Maya.

Tools are not a probltm at all. I mean a tutorial on HOW to make my model work with JA+ , I would also like to know the maximum amount of vertexes aloud for a model (BTW 1000 vertexes is the maximum for hilts) .Is there anythink like that?

Models are models. There is no difference between hilts and players as far as the engine is concerned. The restrictions for both are the same. Besides, there is no 1000 vertex limit for models. There is a 1000 vertex limit for objects. Being a Maya pro I'm sure you know the difference between the two so I won't explain it.
