I want to put an Ithorian into a jedi robe, I got the idea looking at another post, and it seems pretty cool. I think it's called frankensteining, is it easy? And how do I do it? I couldn't find any good tutorials, and I'm worried about installing too many programs onto my computer, as I just got it wiped.

It's the same process as a new model, but you don't have to model/texture anything. Import the .glm files you need, mix them together and rig them to the skeleton.

and there's a bunch of tools to the right here: http://psyko3d.50webs.com/tuts.html

That's for 3d studio max 4 up to 8.
