how to kill player faster -1 reply

well in my recent discovery, a trigger_hurt with a hurt value -1 doesn;t kill a player fast enoguh, i'd like instant death, would it be Kill value 1?

I dont think there is 'kill' key... try something like 'dmg', value '99999'?

Something that is just incredibly stupid in JKA is that when you give for eg. an effect a damage value of 9999 it makes you bounce off it when you die.

You can't give damage to effects. Can you?

well flame effects can be set to have damage, or splash damage

Oh, set in Radiant you mean. Yeah, that's annoying. You're best there to use a trigger_hurt.

What do you mean? A trugger_hurt set to -1 should kill them instantly. What do you mean its not fast enough? And there is also a target_kill that you can link to a trigger_multiple to kill them diffrerently, try that.
