I was just wondering how to inport custom textures into radient. If anyone can help me then thanks.
Read the readme or try searching. This question has been answered before and chances are more than once.
I dont have the read me plus i have searched the forms. Ok?!
There is a sticky thread with bunch of tutorials
Yes i know i looked there but i couldnt find it.
Well hell, I'll answer it: You create a folder in your /gamedata/base/textures folder, name it whatever you want (usually it's going to be the name of the map you're working on). So for example, if your map is going to be named Soul Chamber (I dunno, I just made it up) they would go in /gamedata/base/textures/soulchamber/. Your textures must be a multiple of 16 (32x32, 256x256, 256x512, etc.) and be baseline jpg format (not progressive), or tga format (never used em, so I don't know if there's a special requirement). Then you just go to the texture menu in radiant and find "soulchamber", and they should load up.
Must be power of 2: 2x2, 4x4, 8x32, 2x16, 512x1024 etc.
Ok thank you.
Whoops! My bad....must've been because the smallest texture I've made was 32x32 :)
