Okay, in Krazoa Palace, there are Tapestries that swing gently back and forth... and you can walk through them.
ANY ideas how to make this happen?
Prolly make the texture first (or model >>) then set it as a train runnning between two target_positions at a 0 delay time, right?
Do they swing from the top of them? Try func_pendulum if so.
A shader can get it to sway back and fourth. If done right it looks very convincing.
Now, quick question:
Anyone know if you can use texturescale_vec to edit the size of certain texture features?
Cause I found an awesome one... it's just a square.. not a long rectangle :(
Come on, I REALLY need this info to finish my map.
I'm pretty sure Sith-J-Cull implemented a similar effect on his map: "Tatooine Scum and Wampas?" - A sorta moving, wavy cloth/curtain thing. I suggest you download the above map, and: 1. Investigate the .pk3 for the culprit texture/shader using PakScape, (remember to ask the author before exploring/modifying/adding anything.) If you find it, great, ask permission and stick it in your map to test if it works. If it doesn't... Hope this helps.
