Where do I find an Animation Maker? You know, like make your dude have a different stance for lightning and stuff.

You could use XSI ModTools (minilogoguy would vouch for this) but it's more complicated than Dragon, which I recommend for the average modder. ..But I think you're on a Mac. I don't believe there is an animation tool for Mac, yet. Xycaleth's GLM viewer loads animations.cfg (used to describe animation frame start/end/time information) and the appropriate GLA. Maybe redsaurus or someone could port it to Mac when it's finished, but until then I think Mac people are out of luck.

Yeah but if someone were to take the time to learn Mod Tools they would realize that even someone who is say intermediate could make animations faster than even the best dragon user. Dragon only seems easier because it has like 1/1000 of the capabilities of the animation capabilities that Mod Tool has.

Well mac users are shit outta luck cause there are almost no software out there for game modding, i.e. compilers and such. Leave the mac's for the kids who's daily strive is to be trendy.

I don't know if I'd consider small things like whats available for JA to be most things, still no compiler for characters, animations or maps, those 3 are like the main big things in game modding.

There are tools for all 3 of those things (Blender, MacRadiant, others I don't know of) Maybe there aren't yet working exporters for JA's formats for everything, but there are plenty of Mac tools around the place. ..But sure, there are more PC tools, and they're generally a better development platform.

TheOneAndOnly works on a Mac. Coder, mapper, modeler, whatever else he does..
