Firstly, I should say that I am new to modding. Not new to computers or computer programming, but I haven't modded anything before. Here is what I want to do: I see the force not as a numeric value that depletes when a person uses it, I see it as something the user must concentrate on to use. So I want to make all of the force powers that give effects to the player (speed, protection, absorb, seeing) drain 100% of the player's force power to use. Then, when the effect is over, 100% of force power is restored. In more programming terms, it would be something like: Make force_speed cost 100 force points then, when force_speed is over, restore 100 force points (give force) So what I need to know is either how to change the cost of force powers, or a command that manually changes the amount of force points. Can anybody help me with this? Is it even possible given the commands and variables I have available?
i think a better way to do it, would be to make the players hold down the use force key for an amount of time, and that amount of time has a direct effect on the potency of that power. this would be extremely realistic, as in a combat situation, you would be trying to do lots of things at once, and the power might not have the desired effect.

It is possible, but you will need basic knowledge in c++.
