Ok, so I have a few models in MP mode that I would like to spawn as NPC's in SP mode. Could someone please teach me step by step on how do to this? I've gone through all of the stickies more than once, searched everywhere and still cannot find it! Heh,. thanks.
Go on JKFiles and use the search feature there to find NPC Tool.
That'll bring up a utility used to create NPC files.
I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

I did download that but could never get them to spawn ingame. Plus, to make matters worse the help menu website was offline for the NPC tool. If you can give me a guide on that heh, that would be great :). SOrry, I'm a newbie to all this kind of stuff. :)

You don't need an NPC tool. Simply take a default NPC file and change what you want. They're not complicated, and they're quite well labeled so it really shouldn't be confusing what you should and should not change.
Where do I find the npc files? And how do I open them? I have Pakscape, is that what I use?
Assets in gamedata\base.
Also use WinRAR or WinZip to open them.
Will Pakscape work? I also figured out how to use the NPC tool but whenever I spawn the NPC ingame in SP it turns really laggy and choppy. Is that usual? By the way, the ones I'm spawning are player created and not the ones that came with Jedi Academy or Outcast. :)
