Greetings. I was curious if anyone knew how to increase the number of decals that are allowed to be drawn in Jedi Academy. The main intent of this is primarily to increase the effectiveness of the Blood+ mod. As it currently stands, very few blood spatters are allowed to appear at any one time in the game, causing them to disappear very quickly while in the middle of a firefight. I have heard that there may be some solutions to this issue, but my attempts to Google the subject have not proven to be successful. So I was curious to know if anyone here might have a solution. Any ideas?

Perhaps there's a cvar like /r_marks or /cg_markcount. Not sure what the upper limit is, but I suppose there's a static pool of particles so there's bound to be an upper limit.

-Raz0r-;5294044/r_marks or /cg_markcount

/cg_marks and /r_markcount , you switched them :P

Yeah increasing r_markcount should do the trick, but if i recall it crashes if you increase it too much.

Thanks a lot for the help, guys! The r_markcount command worked great. No crashes so far, but giving it a value above 440 will tend to spam my console with max polyvert warnings. Nevertheless, it is a lot better now than it was before, not to mention a bit more realistic. ;)
